Eagles’ Nursing Injuries

Thirteen Eagles players were out of action Wednesday at training camp. Most were nursing injuries. Running back Brian Westbrook was excused for personal reasons. Offensive lineman Sean Andrews returned to Philadelphia to get a second opinion on his surgically repaired ankle which he injured last week. Coach Andy Reid said the doctor’s visit was just precautionary. Brian Dawkins did some running on the side but is still hampered by an Achilles injury. If the veteran safety can’t go Monday in the Eagles preseason opener against the Ravens, Quintin Mikell will take his place.
