Moats carted off

The Eagles did not look good in their preseason opener last night, losing to the Baltimore Ravens, 29-3, at M&T Bank Stadium.  The Eagles first-string defense allowed the Ravens to march down the field 93 yards on the opening drive to score a touchdown.  And the first-string offense, led by backup quarterback A.J. Feeley, failed to score in the first quarter.  The Eagles also left Baltimore with one less running back.  Ryan Moats broke his left ankle in the third quarter and is most likely done for the season.  The Eagles are off today before returning to practice Wednesday at the NovaCare Complex in South Philadelphia.  Their next preseason game is Friday night at home against the Carolina Panthers.  Donovan McNabb is expected to play.
