At the sons' ages I suspect they've had drug problems for some time, which makes recovery that more difficult. I'm not an Eagles's fan, but think Reid is an excellent coach. However, it would be impossible for any father to excel at his job with this burden (I speak from experience). I hope Philly fans give this good man a break. Also, I doubt that his troubles are not the only problems the team face. For example, it's obvious that Donanvan (another good guy) is hurting. Let's hope the fans support their team without undue criticism. I say all this as a Patriot fan from NYC. After all, it's a game -- not life. What a tragedy for a parent.
