Eagles tight end L.J. Smith participated in Wednesday’s entire practice. Smith has been battling a nagging groin injury and did not play Sunday against the Bears but is optimistic about playing this weekend at Minnesota. Safety Brian Dawkins, who has been out since Week Two with a neck injury, was expected to practice but was excused for personal reasons. Tackle Jon Runyan and linebacker Takeo Spikes also did not practice but both are expected to play Sunday against the Vikings.
