Cole Named Defensive Player Of The Week

The Eagles Trent Cole was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his standout performance in the team’s win over the Vikings Sunday. Cole recorded a career-high 13 tackles, including his league-leading ninth sack of the season, also a career high. This was the first time the defensive end earned the honor. He is the first Eagle to win the award since Brian Dawkins won it last December.
