Posted in The Eagles Trent Cole was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his standout performance in the team’s win over the Vikings Sunday. Cole recorded a career-high 13 tackles, including his league-leading ninth sack of the season, also a career high. This was the first time the defensive end earned the honor. He is the first Eagle to win the award since Brian Dawkins won it last December.
