Eagles on Life Support After 38-17 Home Loss to Dallas

McNabb taken down

The Dallas Cowboys rolled into Lincoln Financial Field Sunday night and dismantled the Eagles, 38-17.  With the loss, Philadelphia is 3-and-5 and now four games back of Dallas in the division as their playoff aspirations are all but gone.  The game started poorly for the Eagles after Donovan McNabb fumbled on the first play.  Dallas recovered and quickly scored to take an early 7-0 lead.  The Eagles did respond with a drive of their own to even the score but that was about it for the Birds until the second half.  Friend-turned-foe Terrell Owens had a big night against his former team.  Owens had 174 receiving yards and a touchdown, which he celebrated mockingly by flapping his wings like an Eagle — something he often did when he was with Philadelphia.  The Eagles remain in the division for next Sunday’s game at Washington.
