McNabb Injured, Feeley May Get Start

Donovan McNabb’s status for next Sunday’s Eagles’ game is uncertain.  Team officials say he has a sprained ankle and injured thumb.  McNabb left the game against Miami in the second quarter Sunday after he hurt his right ankle.  X-rays of the ankle were negative and McNabb spent the second half on the sideline.  An MRI exam yesterday showed no further damage.  McNabb also injured his right thumb earlier in the game.  X-rays showed it wasn’t broken, but there was severe swelling.  Backup quarterback A.J. Feeley will start against the unbeaten Patriots next Sunday if McNabb can’t play.
