Spikes to Miss Final Two Games; Will Have Surgery

Linebacker Takeo Spikes is headed for IR, as the team stated today that he will have surgery for a torn rotator cuff. Spikes hurt the shoulder in Sunday’s gutsy 10-6 win over the Cowboys in Dallas. He is second on the team with 139 tackles, 90 of them solo. He also has a sack. The LB will miss the final two regular season games for the 6-8 Eagles, who are done as far as playoff contention is concerned.
