Dawkins: I’ll Be Back

While the question on everyone’s mind in Philadelphia is whether Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb will return next season, safety Brian Dawkins set the record straight regarding his fate and said he’ll be back.  Injuries plagued the 12-year veteran this season and many were wondering if it was time the 34 year old retire.  Dawkins, who only played in 10 games, said earlier this week that he was frustrated by his disappointing season and he vowed to be ready to go when training camp opens this summer.  The six-time Pro Bowler and potential Hall of Famer is the longest tenured athlete currently in Philadelphia.
