GM Heckert Meets with the Falcons

Eagles general manager Tom Heckert was in Atlanta Monday interviewing for the vacant GM position.  The 40-year-old Heckert met with Falcons owner Arthur Blanks, who is looking to replace Rich McKay.  Heckert has been with the Eagles since 2001 and became the GM in July 2006.  While he holds the title of general manager, all personnel decisions within the Eagles organization still go through coach Andy Reid.  With the Falcons job, Heckert would have final say on all personnel decisions.
