All signs are pointing to corner back William James heading to free agency when it kicks off late next week. Philadelphiaeagles.com is reporting that the team is expected to allow James to enter free agency after a down season in 2007 in which he did not earn a lot of playing time with the birds. James was passed over in the corner rotation by Joselio Hanson. He did start six games, but most were once fellow corner Lito Sheppard got hurt. He ended the season with one pick.
