The Eagles officially re-signed tight end L.J. Smith Wednesday.  Back in February, the team placed the franchise tag on Smith and yesterday he signed the one-year tender.  Smith will make about four-and-a-half-million dollars, which is the average of the top-five tight ends in the NFL.  The 27-year-old, who was hampered by injuries, had 22 catches for 236 yards and one touchdown in 10 games last season.
