Sheppard May Skip Remaining OTA’s

The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that cornerback Lito Sheppard will likely not be attending any more OTA’s for the ball club. Sheppard, who has been the speculation of tons of trade rumors, was working out with the team awhile ago, but may be trying to send a message that he wants to be moved. Head coach Andy Reid did not seem worried about him not being at any sort of workouts that were not required. “Again, this is not a mandatory camp coming up,” Reid said. “These are OTAs [off-season training activities], and players have the option of being here or not being here.” If Sheppard does not get moved and does show up for training camp, he’ll be the third CB behind free agent pickup Asante Sameul and Sheldon Brown.
