Eagles Scrap Fullback Experiment

The Eagles have abandoned their experiment to convert Dan Klecko into a fullback.  During yesterday’s workouts, Klecko returned to defense and also changed his jersey number from 49 to 68.  Despite spending his entire career as a defensive tackle with New England and Indianapolis, the Eagles signed the Temple product as a free-agent in March with the intention of making him a fullback.  The team felt the experiment wasn’t going well and on Friday they signed Klecko’s former teammate Luke Lawton, who will compete with two others for the one fullback spot.
