Talks Between WR Maclin and Eagles Set to Heat Up

The Eagles want to get first-round pick WR Jeremy Maclin into camp on time, and Scout.com reports that talks are set to heat up this next week:
Negotiations between the Philadelphia Eagles and first-round pick WR Jeremy Maclin are expected to pick up next week, a league source told Scout.com.
The source adds that both sides have talked previously and the anticipation is that Maclin will be signed on time by the day the veterans and rookies have their first practice in pads on July 31.
Maclin is expected to challenge for playing time this season in back of veteran WR Kevin Curtis.
