Veteran defensive end Juqua Parker Arrested, Found w/ Marijuana

Matt Mosely of ESPN has the story about Eagles defensive end Juqua Parker being arrested today after police found marijuana on him:

As far as training camps go, it hasn’t exactly smooth sailing for the Philadelphia Eagles. Veteran defensive end Juqua Parker was arrested early this morning after police found a small amount of marijuana on him, according to The [Allentown, Pa.] Morning Call. Parker was in a van that was being driven by starting left guard Todd Herremans, who was pulled over for a traffic violation.

So far, the Eagles are choosing not to comment on the arrest. Andy Reid gave his players the night off on Tuesday and they had a 1 a.m. ET curfew. The traffic stop happened near the Lehigh University campus at 12:30 a.m., so the players were likely about to call it a night. Parker ended up spending a few hours in the local jail until he was bailed out at 3:40 a.m., according The Morning Call.
