It’s Official Trotter is an Eagle!

Jeremiah Trotter is officially a Philadelphia Eagle. Jeff Garcia was released to make room for Trotter.  Nothing surprising here. Except for Andy Reid breaking his self proclaimed vision of not signing players over the age of 30. Trotter’s role isn’t clear at this time but it looks like he will be a running stuffing specialist.

McCoy / Westbrook to split time

Andy Reid yesterday announced that he is going to begin to split Westbrook’s time once he comes back from his ankle injury. All indicators point to Westbrook returning after the bye. But what role will he play? Is the end of Westbrook in Philly near? The vultures are swarming over Westbrook’s head now. I love [...]

Trotter In, Garcia Out!

Andy Reid seems impressed by Trotter in his two workouts. All indications are leaning towards Trotter signing with the team for the veteran minimum later this week.  Reuben Frank a Eagles beat writer and part time WIP host agrees. Garcia will be released to make space for Trotter. I can’t say I’m shocked but it looks [...]

Eagles Work out Trotter AGAIN!

I’m not sure to be horrified or proud that Andy Reid worked out Jeremiah Trotter for the second time this week. He confirmed the second workout today on 610 WIP in Philadelphia. The Eagles didn’t need much from new decoy Mike Vick, who played in his regular season game as an Eagle. Kevin Kolb threw [...]

WR Jordan Norwood Added to the Practice Squad

Eagles’ beat writer Jeff McLane is reporting on his Twitter page that the team has signed wide receiver Jordan Norwood to the practice squad. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cleveland Browns in 2009. He played college football at Penn State. He is the son of Baylor defensive coordinator and former [...]

Stacy Andrews Stays Stuck on the Eagles Bench

The Cherry Hill Courier-Post says Stacy Andrews is stuck on the bench: Stacy Andrews didn’t start Sunday against New Orleans, didn’t see any snaps with the first-team offense and it’s unknown when the team’s major free-agent acquisition on the offensive line will reclaim his starting job. Eagles coach Andy Reid said Monday Andrews hasn’t planted [...]
