The Cherry Hill Courier-Post says Stacy Andrews is stuck on the bench:
Stacy Andrews didn’t start Sunday against New Orleans, didn’t see any snaps with the first-team offense and it’s unknown when the team’s major free-agent acquisition on the offensive line will reclaim his starting job. Eagles coach Andy Reid said Monday Andrews hasn’t planted his surgically repaired right knee firmly enough lately and needs more time to regain confidence in his technique before he can line up again. “He obviously had the knee surgery (in January) and it wasn’t that long ago. So during training camp Stacy didn’t take any live periods,” Reid said. “Then I brought Stacy out, gave him a little preseason action — very little. The reason why he didn’t take the preseason action was because he wasn’t putting that right foot in the ground.
