WR Jordan Norwood Added to the Practice Squad

Eagles’ beat writer Jeff McLane is reporting on his Twitter page that the team has signed wide receiver Jordan Norwood to the practice squad. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cleveland Browns in 2009. He played college football at Penn State. He is the son of Baylor defensive coordinator and former Penn State secondary coach Brian Norwood.

It was nice to see them go out and replace Amendola as quickly as they did. Norwood was part of that trio of receivers who were featured for a long time at Penn State. Amendola definitely had a lot of promise, there just wasn’t a spot for him on this team right now.
