Andy Reid seems impressed by Trotter in his two workouts. All indications are leaning towards Trotter signing with the team for the veteran minimum later this week. Reuben Frank a Eagles beat writer and part time WIP host agrees. Garcia will be released to make space for Trotter. I can’t say I’m shocked but it looks like Trot’s leadership might be needed to improve the toughness of this defense. He has a bye week to get up to speed so I expect to see him on the field during the Tampa Bay game. Hopefully the nearly 2 year layoff from the NFL was good for Trotter’s knees. He is only 32 so maybe there is still some gas in his tank. We all know he still has the heart.
