Eagles clinch playoff spot by beating 49ers 27-13

After beating the San Francisco 49ers 27-13, the Philadelphia Eagles have clinched a playoff spot in the 2009 playoffs. They still hold first place in their division; however, they have not clinched the division. The Eagles control their own destiny and can clinch the division by winning out their division.

This game looked like it would be a cake walk early for the Eagles but they seemed to stumble after jumping out to an early lead. The team fought the whole game and was able to force the 49ers into multiple turnovers and win the game. Doing so not only clinched for the Eagles, but ruined the 49ers hopes at making the playoffs.

On the offensive side of the ball, Donovan McNabb, DeSean Jackson, and Leonard Weaver were your stand out stars.
