Eagles Fall Flat, Fail to Clinch Bye Week and Home Game

Wow. It’s hard to say much more than that. All the stars were aligned for the Eagles heading into today’s match up but the Eagles failed to step up and take what was there for the taking. Due to the Eagles terrible performance, they will fall to the six seed in the NFC and take on the three seed. Who is that? None other than the same Dallas Cowboys we saw today. Not only that, we will travel back to Dallas to try to start our playoff run on the right foot.

Personally, I think Donovan McNabb played an absolutely horrific game today and has the most to prove in the redemption effort that will come next week. He missed many opportunities in the first half to get points on the board for the Eagles. His throws were not accurate and he could not lead the Eagles high powered offense to score a single point.

As Eagles fans, I’m sure we’re all extremely embarrassed. However, the Eagles need to quickly erase this embarrassment from their minds and come out on a whole other level next weekend.
