Posted in After just mentioning how badly the Eagles need to bring back Leonard Weaver, there was yet another reason piled on today. Weaver was voted first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press today. That is a very high honor and one that Weaver definitely deserves. He can add that to his Pro Bowl nomination in his first year as an Eagles and tell the organization “pay me.” I don’t believe Weaver is the kind of guy who would hold out for some outrageous type of deal or anything, but the Eagles need to do whatever they have to in order to bring him back.
Note: DeSean Jackson, Asante Samuel, Trent Cole, and David Akers were named second-team All-Pro.
