Posted in In an unexpected turn of events, Terrell Owens has now been quoted telling the media that he and Donovan McNabb are friends now. Here is what T.O. said:
I can honestly say I appreciate those years and Donovan and I are friends and, actually we were just hanging out last night as a matter of fact. So it was one of those things where — again — it started off well, it didn’t end well. Sometimes, I wish it could have ended on a positive note.
I hope he doesn’t think that this will make anyone in Philadelphia hate him less. You didn’t just piss of Donovan McNabb, you pissed off the entire organization and this city. I don’t know if he is trying to make himself sound like he’s changed because he’s looking for a big paycheck next season, but i don’t think anyone will buy that. He’s had some sort of problem everywhere he’s been and it’s not going to be any different.
