PFW: Weaver Won’t Get as Many Carries in 2010 as 2009

Pro Football Weekly reports it looks like FB Leonard Weaver won’t see as many carries in 2010 as 09:

Eagles FB Leonard Weaver told PFW he expects to receive fewer carries this season after handling the ball a surprising number of times last season when injuries cropped up. “I understand why,” Weaver said. “We have great talent here. I think LeSean McCoy has a chance to be really good, and Mike Bell should be a great fit in this offense. He’s just what we need.”

I’m so happy we locked up Weaver long term. He is a hell of a player and is exactly the type of person you want in your locker room. Everyone knows this teams needs leadership and some veteran presence on the offensive side, and who better than the best FB in the business!
