Fox Sports Releases Top 100 NFL Players List

Fox Sports has released a list of their top 100 NFL players.

The Eagles have four players that made the list. Trent Cole, Jason Peters, DeSean Jackson, and Asante Samuel made the list. DeSean Jackson came in as the seventh ranked wide receiver after just two years in the league. Asante Samuel is among the top five cornerback’s on the list. Jason Peters also ranked among the top five at his position.

With such a young team, it’s not super surprising that there aren’t more players on the list. There are definitely some guys who are on the verge of cracking this list and I think that we should see a lot more players on the list next year.

However, until that time comes, I think the players we see on the list now need to step up and show some leadership on this team.

There are so many people that are left out and that are better then half the people like Jay Cutler is on this list and he shouldn’t be on this list Or Eli Manning just cause he won a super bowl come on.. He isn’t a great quarterback cause he needs everything to go right to be effective and he throws interceptions.

Why does the list stop at number 2? Peyton Manning is a great QB and all that and is obviously numero uno on this list (as he is absent elsewhere), but is this a mistake or what?

We can argue over who IS number one, but this list DOES NOT name a number one! 🙂

Peyton Manning is no doubt the top player in the NFL. He has too much prestige and great numbers throughout his career. Also, Panthers running back would undoubtedly overtake multiple players, not just running backs, on this list. Darren Sharper Hines Ward, and Percy Harvin should be much higher on the list than the high 90s. Hines Ward hasn’t been playing at the top of his game but still deserves a spot on the list due to his tremendous acalades in his career. Might I mention his Super Bowl MVP award

    *Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart

The reason they didn’t name number one is because the special hasn’t aired yet and they are trying to get people to tune in to see who it is, but it is definitely Payton Manning. It was leaked on
