There has been a lot of talk the past week about the decision making in the Eagles organization. Guys like Andy Reid, Jeff Lurie, Joe Banner, and Howie Roseman all have decision making power, but there has been some question as to who gets to make the final calls.
I’m sure they would all love to have the final say in things, but each has their own things to focus on and should function as a team.
What I’m curious about is how much people care about who runs the show.
To me, it seems that when people get upset with decisions that are made by the team they blame the “front office.” People rarely point out a single individual.
Personally, it makes no difference to me who has the final say as long as the decisions that are made are good ones. I like the idea of the “front office” making the right decisions, not any one individual.
I was surprised how all this talk came about and the buzz it created. It’s kind of an interesting thing to think about, because it’s not something I generally think about very often. However, at the end of the day, the thing that matters most to me is the outcome of the games themselves.
What are your thoughts on the Eagles front office and its decision makers?
