Eagles Get RB Arrington From Denver in a Deal for WR Mays

CBS4 Sports has learned that the Broncos have traded running back JJ Arrington to the Eagles. In exchange, the Broncos receive linebacker Joe Mays. Joe Mays is a third year player out of North Dakota State, and was a 6th round draft pick of the Eagles in 2008.

Mays was largely a special teams player, starting just one game in his 2 seasons with Philadelphia. JJ Arrington originally signed with the Broncos in March 2009, but was released just two and a half months later after failing a physical. The Broncos then signed the 5th year pro out of the University of California-Berkeley on March 4, 2010.
