Posted in Wide receiver DeSean Jackson was carted off the field Saturday with a back injury suffered during an afternoon practice at training camp, but team officials say he’ll be fine. The Eagles’ leading receiver caught a pass Saturday and stumbled to the ground, then needed help to the sidelines before gimping to a cart and heading to the workout facility. “He’ll be all right. It wasn’t anything that serious,” linebacker Omar Gaither told the Philadelphia Inquirer; Gaither was within inches of Jackson when he twisted to the turf. “Obviously, they’re gonna take the full precaution, but he’ll be fine.”
Jackson’s Back Injury Not Considered to Be Serious
