Eagles Win 27-17 in a Very Dramatic Game with Giants

What a game. This wasn’t the type of game we saw last week against the Redskins where they got up early and put it on cruise control. This game was an absolute battle that went back and forth and required the Eagles to step up and make plays in crunch time.

There were a lot of missed opportunities this week, and the game could have been a completely different story if the Eagles would have converted on these opportunities. However, they had to move forward and play football.

Michael Vick didn’t have the huge statistical game that we saw against Washington, but he had some help at the end of the game and was able to escape with the win.

Defensively, the Eagles played great against the run. They held the Giants to just 61 yards during the game and also did a great job forcing turnovers.

At the end of the day, Eli Manning threw three interceptions as well as committing a key fumble at the end of the game, essentially ending the Giants chance to win.

Two of Manning’s three interceptions were recorded by Asante Samuel, who also added a fumble recovery.

LeSean McCoy’s running at the end of the game was brilliant as he ended up recording over 100 yards on the day. He recorded the go ahead touchdown as well as running the ball well to eat up time at the end.

The win now puts the Eagles at the top of the division as they will now look forward to a meeting with the Chicago Bears next Sunday.
