Eagles Looking at Kick Returners

The Eagles are interested in trying to upgrade the kick return game, as reports state the team is going to be looking at a couple of possible game changers over the next few days.

Now, Adam Caplan is reporting that the Eagles are expected to also work out TCU WR/KR/PR Jeremy Kerley. Despite his small size at 5’9″ 189 lbs, Kerley has shown the durability necessary for his position. He put up solid numbers in the return game during college, averaging over 26 yards per kickoff return and 8.1 yards per punt return. According to Caplan, he projects to play as a slot receiver at the next level. If picked up by the Eagles, Kerley should provide good competition for a guy like Chad Hall, who has struggled in the return game so far. The Eagles also held a private workout with USC WR/KR/PR Ronald Johnson last Friday.
