Lincoln Financial Field Hosts, ‘Alex’s Lemonade Stand’ Charity Night

The charity Alex’s Lemonade Stand is planning on hosting a fund raising event at Lincoln Financial Field entitled, Camp Out For Kid’s Cancer. The camp-out is where kids will have the chance to spend the night on the field at the Linc, with an entire host of activities. The event will go on the weekend of June 11th though June 12th, and will cost $75 to register. Along with the registration fee, it is required that each person involved raises $200 to donate to the charity.

Here is a paragraph from the press release on what the events over-night will be:

Camp Out for Kids Cancer will be a night filled with camping activities and football fun. Among the activities on the agenda: exclusive access to the locker room, football contests on the field, tours of the stadium, ghost stories and sports themed movies. Dinner, snacks and breakfast will be provided to all those in attendance, as well as exclusive take home memorabilia from the event. Making this event even more memorable, it will take place during the foundation’s National Lemonade Days (June 10-12), when thousands of volunteers across the country host Alex’s Lemonade Stands in an effort to raise $1 million for childhood cancer.”

All of the money from the night will go directly to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand charity. In an act to keep the event family-friendly the charity has requested that all applicants that register must be accompanied by one child. The charity has also stressed that space is limited, so it’s best to register as soon as possible.
