Reid’s Son Cited For Traffic Violations

Bob Grotz of the Delaware County Times reports Eagles head coach Andy Reid’s son Britt was pulled over by state police in Lower Merion Township on Thursday and issued three citations according to records.

Reid was cited by Trooper Jeffrey M. Lambert for careless driving and violations of maximum speed limits and tire equipment and traction surfaces. All are summary offenses.

Reached Monday, Lambert declined to specify where the stop occurred, deferring questions to the state police public information officer at the Belmont Barracks.

“It was definitely in Lower Merion Township,” Lambert said. “But I don’t want to overstep my bounds.”

The state police public information officer was unavailable for comment Monday.

Andy Reid had no comment, according to Eagles spokesman Derek Boyko.
