Eagles running back LeSean McCoy has filed papers with the NFLPA ending his relationship with Drew Rosenhaus, Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports.
One month ago, McCoy reportedly split from Rosenhaus, but rescinded the papers he had filed with the union. That incident occurred just days before Rosenhaus was featured on CBS’ “60 Minutes”, with McCoy’s name mentioned as one of the elite NFL players Rosenhaus represents.
The 53rd overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft out of the University of Pittsburgh, Rosenhaus negotiated McCoy’s four-year, $3.497 million contract that includes a $525,000 in base salary this season and $615,000 in 2012.
McCoy ran for 1,717 yards and 11 touchdowns with 118 receptions for 900 yards and two touchdowns receiving his first two seasons in the league and enters Week 9 of the 2011 season as the league’s second-leading rusher with 754 yards and eight rushing touchdowns.
