Posted in The Eagles announced that they have parted ways with secondary/cornerbacks coach Johnny Lynn.
A former NFL defensive back with the New York Jets, Lynn began his NFL coaching career in 1988 and has been either a secondary coach or defensive coordinator since 1992. Lynn joined the Eagles staff last offseason after spending the previous five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
The Eagles ranked 10th against the pass in 2011 and cornerbacks Nnamdi Asomugha and Asante Samuel combined for six of the team’s 15 interceptions.
