Mornhinweg To Interview with Oakland for Head Coach Opening

Philly OC Marty Mornhinweg is on his way to Oakland to get an interview with the Raiders about their head coach opening. The spot became open after new GM Reggie McKenzie canned coach Hue Jackson late last week.

The former Lions head coach has spent the last nine seasons with the Eagles following a two-year stint in Detroit, where he was pretty awful, going 5-27.

Prior to the Lions’ job, Mornhinweg was the 49ers offensive coordinator from 1997-2000 and worked with the Packers from 1995-96. Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie was the Packers’ Director of Operations when Mornhinweg was in Green Bay.
