Jason Babin Puts The Kabosh on Running With Bulls in Spain

Babin Veto's the Bull Run!

In what surely would have made headline news, Jason Babin has decided to put the kabosh on his plan to run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

After missing the first week of OTAs due to a bear-hunting trip in Alaska, Babin told reporters that he would be interested in doing the annual bull run in Spain next month. His logic? He claimed that he needed to punch-out his man card, and the best way to do that was by running away from massive animals that are looking to kill you. He went on to cite sources that bulls can’t turn as well as humans on cobblestone streets.

However, after thinking over the shaky situation, Babin gave a track-back on his original comments by saying he had no idea what reporters were talking about. Then, in an effort to get away, he joked that he didn’t even have a passport to get to Spain in the first place.

This of course, is typical Babin.

He’s the definition of a joker, and at some point he may have actually had plans to do the bull run, but after the overwhelmingly concerned and questionable response, he decided better of it. And more than likely, it was a very smart idea for a player that literally makes his living off of being healthy and being able to perform week in and week out.

But, without a doubt, expect jokes aimed at Babin and his ridiculous idea from the entire rest of the NFC East in this upcoming season.
