Eagles Bring In RB Felix Jones For Workout

The Eagles worked out former Cowboys first round pick Felix Jones on Tuesday. Jones started his career on a hot streak, looking like an explosive playmaker. Since then, he has fizzled out, and averaged a career-low 35 yards from scrimmage per game in 2012. He turns 26 on Wednesday, May 8, and his injury history makes him seem much older. He could earn a roster spot ahead of Chris Polk or Miguel Maysonet in Philadelphia and offers some kick return value, but he would have to prove his health first. No signing appears imminent, and he’s not a player to get excited about any more.
