Eagles Hire Boston College OC Jim Day To Coach QB’s

Philadelphia Eagles v New York Giants

The Eagles have hired Boston College offensive coordinator Ryan Day to be their quarterbacks coach, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Day was also Boston College’s quarterbacks coach for the last two seasons. He previously coached B.C.’s wide receivers from 2007 to ’11. In between, he was Temple’s offensive coordinator for a season before following former Owls coach Steve Addazio to Boston.

He got his coaching start at New Hampshire, where he was the tight ends coach alongside offensive coordinator Kelly in 2002. He was New Hampshire’s starting quarterback for three seasons (1999-2001) and set school records with Kelly calling the plays.
