As if things haven’t been interesting enough this offseason for the Eagles and the rest of the NFL, the birds could be landing the biggest free agent out there as they have a meeting set up with running back DeMarco Murray on Thursday.
The move would not only add one of the biggest playmakers in the NFL to the Philly roster, but also would seriously hurt their biggest rival in the Cowboys.
Last season Murray ran for 1845 yards and 13 touchdowns, putting up 4.7 yards per carry. The meeting could net the Eagles a huge piece of their offensive puzzle for years to come.
It's on: Cowboys free-agent RB DeMarco Murray is flying to Philadelphia to meet Eagles officials on Thursday, per league source.
