Former Eagles WR Terrell Owens Says He Can Help Teams’ Offense

Dallas Cowboys v Philadelphia Eagles

With the Eagles standing at 1-3, things, Terrell Owens thinks he could be the player to help get things on back on track, Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advance Media reports.

“Absolutely, yes,” Owens said on 94WIP when asked if he could help the Eagles, via CBS Sports. “No question, no question about that.”

Owens, 41, last played in 2010 with the Cincinnati Bengals, hauling in 72 catches for 983 yards and nine touchdowns.

That, however, was five years ago — a span Owens doesn’t think would have an impact on his production.

“I definitely could be playing right now, but based on my character — yeah, people can say, ‘Oh he’s 41.’ But I’m not your average 41-year-old and (94 WIP host Ike Reese) you can attest to that,” Owens said. “And when I was on that football field, I felt like I was the best thing out there and it was due to how hungry I was and how dedicated I was.”
