Eagles Running Backs Coach Staley Interviews for Head Coaching Job

The Eagles will look high and low for a coach this offseason, and started with one of their own on Friday, as reports say the team spoke to running back coach Duce Staley.

Last Tuesday the Eagles fired Chip Kelly with a week left in the season. Pat Shurmur will coach the finale against the Giants tomorrow.

The 40-year-old Staley is no stranger to Eagles fans, he played for the team from 1997-2003, rushing for over 1,000 yards three times.

He’s been on the Eagles coaching staff since 2013 when he was hired as the running backs coach.
