Greenroom, the celebrity video chat platform co-founded by Dr. Drew Pinsky, is partnering with CrowdRise, part of GoFundMe, the world’s largest social fundraising platform, to bring NFL fans a new experience for the charitable “My Cause My Cleats” initiative.
Fans who donate on CrowdRise to Carson Wentz’s AO1 Foundation have a chance to win a personal video chat where Carson will sign his custom cleats with a personalized autograph and the winner receives an edited video clip of the chat.
“I am excited for this opportunity to interact directly with a fan and somebody who supports the AO1 Foundation,” said Carson Wentz. “I’ll be personalizing and autographing a pair of custom AO1 cleats that I wore pregame in the month of September.”
“This is a breakthrough for fans and players,” said Dr. Drew Pinsky, co-founder and president of Greenroom. “Fans get unprecedented personal access and players get an easy new way to raise funds for their cause.”
“We are excited to give NFL fans a new way to connect with their favorite players and support great causes”, said Phil Eisen from CrowdRise. For players, this is a great way to fundraise that can be arranged around even the busiest of schedules.
