Klecko is a great value pickup. Whether or not he makes the starting FB position is irrelevant because of the fact that this move demands a higher level of competition. He should help our short yardage running game and maybe then Reid will stop calling for passes on 3rd and 1.

Dude why dont you throw in Donovan while at it? Are you crazy HaitianSensation??

Reggie Brown, Lito and a 1st is way too much to give up in my mind. Especially if Fitz is commanding the type of cap space his contract is set up to do.

I liked Takeo but they want to be young at every defensive position with the exception of B-Dawk. I hope he finally makes the playoffs with someone outside the NFC East.

I think that the eagles will certainly draft an OT somewhere in the first three rounds. I agree that it is unlikely the eagles will take a receiver with a high pick. With the safety position, now that Samuel has been signed, Brown could be moved to SS and Lito to RCB, but it is also possible that the eagles would take a safety with a 3-4 round pick due to an aging Dawk.

First of all, I agree that McNabb will be in Philly the next few years. I also agree that the Eagles struggled to score, both by big play and while in the red zone. But I disagree the Eagles need to sign a "big name" receiver. Donovan is a good enough QB when he is healthy to take the Eagles to the post season without huge names. He lead us to 3 straight NFC championships with number ones like James Thrash and Todd Pinkston. In 2004, when they reached the Super Bowl, Owens was out for 6 regular season games and the entire playoffs with the exception of the Super Bowl. The eagles corps of recievers this year, despite lacking big names, is much better than any corps donovan has ever had for a full season. I think that if McNabb remains healthy, the eagles could win the big game if they added another good offensive tackle and some pieces on defense. And honestly, after signing Samuel yesterday, there is no way that Johnson, Fitzgerald, or Randy Moss would fit in with the remaining $11M salary cap dollars left. Also, Remember that any WR drafted will take at least a year, if not longer, to adjust and become a real weapon in the offense.

Chad Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, and Randy Moss. Eagles neeeeed to get one. Stop being so cheap. They need Mcnabb and they need a great receiver. If they want to contend for a Championship!
